When Gossip Girl was at its zenith, I was barely getting into middle school and transitioning out of Myspace into Facebook. Being a millennial, I define periods in my life quite often with my internet presence. From playing at the monkey bars in elementary to taking mirror pics in middle school, my world and bubble only existed where my physical eyes could see.

Then I often borrowed friends’ and my mom’s phones to upload a picture taken from some other source other than my own, as I had a prepaid flip phone…
